Does my footage get uploaded?
No. Your raw video never leaves your machine. CutterFly analyzes locally and stores only lightweight analysis data (transcripts, thumbnails, audio extracts) in the EU cloud. That's what makes instant restore and web search possible.
Does it work inside Premiere Pro?
Yes — CutterFly is a Premiere Pro panel. It organizes your real bins and builds real sequences you keep editing like any other timeline. Nothing is exported behind your back.
What do I need to run it?
A recent Premiere Pro on macOS (Windows follows later), plus the CutterFly helper app that does the local analysis. Beta invites include setup in minutes.
Will it replace my editing?
No. It replaces the busywork before editing. You pick the takes, set the vibe, and stay in charge of every cut. CutterFly gets you from raw footage to a first cut you'd actually keep.
How is this different from silence-cutter plugins?
Silence-cutters trim pauses and jump-cut what's left; template tools drop your clips into a preset. Neither knows what your footage says. CutterFly reads it: every spoken word, every take's quality, every b-roll moment's content. That's what lets it pick deliveries, place b-roll on the words being said, and build a first cut instead of just shortening your raw material.
What will it cost?

What happens to my data if I leave?
Deleting your account deletes everything with it: every analysis result, thumbnail and cache, automatically and permanently. We keep nothing about you or your footage once you're gone. And if you just want a clean slate without leaving, there's a one-switch wipe anytime. No tickets, no waiting.
